Snow peas are an underrated vegetable that can be delicious, yet simple to prepare. In this recipe, I use just two ingredients to elevate snow peas into a restaurant worthy vegetable side.
- 8 oz snow peas, trimmed (see note)
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- Sea salt, to taste
Pour an inch of water into a medium pot. Bring to a boil then add the snow peas. Bring the water back to a boil and cook, covered, for one minute. Drain, add the sesame oil and sea salt to taste. Mix to incorporate and serve.
Note: to trim the snow peas, pull back one end and peel the string off. Discard the string.
