Simple and always delicious, sesame noodles are a great go-to. A savory side dish or the perfect take-along lunch since it can be eaten room temperature or cold! Enhance the sesame noodles by adding some cooked vegetables (steamed, roasted, or whatever you have leftover).
- 1 package udon noodles or linguine
- 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 cup chopped cooked vegetables (optional)
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Prepare noodles according to package directions. In the meantime, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, vinegar and scallions. Drain the noodles, add the sauce and incorporate the vegetables if using. Garnish with sesame seeds.
