- 1 turkey (thawed if frozen)
- 1 bunch fresh thyme
- 2 lemons, halved
- 2 clusters of garlic, halved
- Olive oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place turkey in a large roasting pan. Season the turkey generously with salt, pepper and olive oil. Place 2 halves of the lemon and 2 halves of the garlic clusters inside the turkey cavity. Place the bunch of thyme partially inside the cavity, sticking out. Place the remaining lemon and garlic in the turkey pan.
Roast until thermometer reaches 160 degrees in the thickest part of the turkey.
Tip: if certain parts of the turkey are getting too roasted, cover those areas with pieces of foil.
