An old fashioned healthy condiment that pairs well with any protein and can be used as a unique dip. We especially love it with these tuna cakes.
- 1 1⁄2 cups fresh cilantro, loosely packed
- 3 green chilis, cut into quarters (seeds & insides removed if you don’t want it so spicy)
- 2 tbsp ground almonds
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1⁄4 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon or lime
- Salt to taste
Place cilantro, chilis, ground almonds, garlic cloves, and water in a blender and whirl until smooth. Add lemon or lime juice and salt. Give it another quick whirl.
