Cilantro Chutney

An old fashioned healthy condiment that pairs well with any protein and can be used as a unique dip. We especially love it with these tuna cakes.



  • 1 12 cups fresh cilantro, loosely packed
  • 3 green chilis, cut into quarters (seeds & insides removed if you don’t want it so spicy)
  • 2 tbsp ground almonds
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 14 cup water
  • Juice of 1 lemon or lime
  • Salt to taste


Place cilantro, chilis, ground almonds, garlic cloves, and water in a blender and whirl until smooth. Add lemon or lime juice and salt. Give it another quick whirl.
