Apple Chutney


I love that apples take on an entirely different flavor in this chutney. It has a surprising sweet and sour taste, that pairs really well with bold flavored meats and poultry. Plus, it’s easy and quick to make.



Heat oil in a sauté pan, then add the shallot. Stir and cook until softened, about 5 minutes, Add the remainder of the ingredients and continue to cook until soft, about 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Let cool, then transfer to a sealed jar. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
